Judge Overture from the row you loaded and from the failure in front of you. These five threads are a high nozzle, a shiny top on matte PLA, TPU printed too fast, a possible clog, and stringing after a dry. Budget filament, eSUN, and filament quality are the brand comparisons.

The rows

Overture PLA lists 190–230 °C (374–446 °F) and a bed of 50–70 °C (122–158 °F). Matte PLA lists the same 190–230 °C (374–446 °F) and 50–70 °C (122–158 °F). PLA Plus lists 190–230 °C (374–446 °F) and a bed of 35–60 °C (95–140 °F), with no drying time stored. TPU lists 210–240 °C (410–464 °F) and 30–60 °C (86–140 °F), with no print speed stored. PETG lists 220–250 °C (428–482 °F) and 70–90 °C (158–194 °F). None of the five threads is a PETG print, so that range is the catalog row only. PLA, PLA+, PETG, and TPU are the hubs.

What failed in the threads

r/3Dprinting 1ujd6x8 is an Ender 3 with Overture PLA. Two score-38 comments say the printer was not set up and that the nozzle is floating well above the bed, far past a normal 1–2 mm Z-offset miss, and one of them suspects the Z endstop. That is a first layer. It is not a filament temperature.

r/BambuLab 16n0nja is Overture matte PLA. Calibration squares are matte. The top layer shines. The poster tried a Bambu profile, an Overture profile, and a custom profile, at 190–200°, at 0.2 mm and 0.28 mm layers. A score-20 comment says speed is what usually decides a matte surface. 190–200° is how the post writes the range. It sits at the bottom of the 190–230 °C (374–446 °F) matte nozzle.

r/ender3 107yikr says the full Overture TPU temperature range looked wrong. The retrieved comments do not pick a new temperature. They say try 15 mm/s, and that TPU wants to stay at 15–25 mm/s. The catalog row does not list a speed. Flexible filament is the TPU guide.

r/FixMyPrint ul3umr is thin near-vertical walls drooping in Overture filament less than a month old, on an Artillery Sidewinder X1 with Klipper. The leading comment suggests a partial clog. Another asks whether the part-cooling fan is spinning. Filament quality is the page for a spool that changed behavior.

r/FixMyPrint 10p65cm dried Overture PLA+ for 8 hours at 120 °F and still had stringing, with retraction described as already tuned. A score-10 comment says wet spools string more, and that eight hours should have made a moisture problem obvious if water was the cause. A score-9 comment says stringing is retraction and that drying is for PLA that snaps. The PLA Plus row does not list a drying temperature. Stringing and drying are the two guides, and 120 °F stays the poster's oven setting.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • PLA, matte PLA, PLA Plus, and TPU each keep the range stored on that row.
  • The Z-offset thread is not converted into a brand defect.

Cons

  • Overture PETG lists 220–250 °C (428–482 °F) and 70–90 °C (158–194 °F), and none of these five threads is an Overture PETG print, so PETG is catalog context only.
  • 120 °F for 8 hours is the poster's drying attempt. It is not a drying specification on the PLA Plus row.

What the community says

r/3Dprinting 1ujd6x8 is an Ender 3 running Overture PLA. The leading comments say the machine was not set up and that the nozzle is far too high. r/BambuLab 16n0nja is Overture matte PLA with shine on the top layer after days of calibration, printed between 190–200°. A comment points at speed. r/ender3 107yikr is Overture TPU across the poster's full temperature range. Comments say slow the print to 15 mm/s or stay at 15–25 mm/s. r/FixMyPrint ul3umr is thin walls drooping in Overture filament less than a month old on an Artillery Sidewinder X1. The leading comment suggests a partial clog. Another asks if the part-cooling fan is working. r/FixMyPrint 10p65cm dried Overture PLA+ for 8 hours at 120 °F and still had stringing. One comment says wet filament strings and that eight hours should have shown an effect if water was the cause. Another comment says stringing is retraction.

Questions

What nozzle does Overture Matte PLA list?

190–230 °C (374–446 °F), with a bed of 50–70 °C (122–158 °F), the same window as Overture PLA. The shine post printed between 190–200°. A comment on r/BambuLab 16n0nja says speed drives the matte surface.

How fast does the catalog say to print Overture TPU?

It does not. Overture TPU lists a nozzle of 210–240 °C (410–464 °F) and a bed of 30–60 °C (86–140 °F), and print speed is blank. Comments on r/ender3 107yikr say 15 mm/s and a maximum of 15–25 mm/s. Those speeds are the comments. The flexible-filament guide is the TPU page.
