What is visible before email confirmation?
The brand, the product, the material, and the percent off. The price stays off the page until you open the confirm link from your email.
When does the price and retailer link appear?
After the confirmation step of the newsletter signup, not when the form is first submitted. Confirmation sets a cookie and a localStorage flag on that browser. The page then requests /deals/unlocked.json.
Can one deal list Amazon and another retailer?
Yes. The deal file has a retailers array. Each entry has a name, an https URL, and an affiliate flag. Public pages do not print those URLs.
