1ELEGOO · PLA MarbleELEGOO PLA Marble lists a nozzle of 190–220 °C (374–428 °F), a bed of 35–65 °C (95–149 °F), a print speed up to 200 mm/s, and drying at 50 °C (122 °F) for 8 hours. Hardened nozzle is blank. The marble thread used a 0.6 mm nozzle and 0.3 mm layers. Those settings are the post, not this row.PLA

Buy marble when you want the look the side-by-side photo shows. Do not read a clogged all-metal heatbreak as a review of metal-filled filament. Matte PLA, silk, clogs, and Polymaker are the related pages.

The rows

ELEGOO PLA Marble lists 190–220 °C (374–428 °F), a bed of 35–65 °C (95–149 °F), a speed up to 200 mm/s, and drying at 50 °C (122 °F) for 8 hours. Hardened nozzle is blank. Overture Matte PLA lists 190–230 °C (374–446 °F) and 50–70 °C (122–158 °F). PolyLite PLA lists 190–230 °C (374–446 °F) and 25–60 °C (77–140 °F). Bambu PLA Marble and Bambu PLA Metal have empty nozzle and bed fields, so they stay off the ranked list. PLA is the hub.

The marble photo

r/BambuLab 1cu7jlc is Bambu marble on the left and Polymaker marble on the right, on a P1S, 0.3 mm layers, 0.6 mm nozzle, identical slicer settings. The poster describes Bambu as denser, slightly glossy, and full of brown and red bits, and Polymaker as matte with fewer black bits. The poster prefers Polymaker and would still like a few more fragments. The score-37 comment wants a matte marble and otherwise prints that kind of part in white matte PLA. The score-18 comment says Prusament Marble Grey is matte and a bit rough. That name is a Prusament PLA color.

r/3Dprinting vhumtv is a gift of marble filament and a request for a ring. The score-130 comment says print the ring. The score-96 comment says the giver researched PETG versus PLA. A score-13 comment names Addnorth E-PLA Marble as warmer than Eryone. A score-23 comment mentions lost-PLA casting if the ring has to be silver or gold. None of those comments price the spool or test the fill.

Silk, and two hotend threads

r/3Dprinting vvpwkl is copper silk PLA. The poster could not change temperature during the print and used downloaded g-code. The score-58 comment says break the tower and check layer adhesion, and reads 220 as stronger than 200 in the picture because 200 did not look fully melted. A score-22 comment says many silks are less temperature-sensitive than ordinary PLA. 200 and 220 are the comment. Silk is the silk page.

r/FixMyPrint 12oqoig is two all-metal heatbreaks clogged with PLA. The score-69 comment says heat to the melting point and push the plastic out. The score-59 comment finishes the job with cleaning filament. r/ender3 123xyav is a bi-metal heat break, hot and unclogged, that still will not feed. The score-55 comment says the filament is catching the lip and should be cut to a centered point. The score-56 comment says that cut fixed it.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • ELEGOO PLA Marble keeps a nozzle, a bed, a speed, and a drying time, and it does not set a hardened-nozzle flag.
  • The marble post is a controlled look comparison: same printer, same settings, two brands.

Cons

  • Bambu PLA Marble and Bambu PLA Metal store no nozzle and no bed, so they are not ranked.
  • The copper-silk thread is a temperature tower. A score-58 comment reads 220 as stronger than 200 from the photo. That reading is the comment.

What the community says

r/BambuLab 1cu7jlc compares Bambu marble and Polymaker marble. Bambu looks denser, glossier, and more fragmented to the poster. Polymaker looks matte with fewer black bits. The score-37 comment would print the shape in white matte PLA. r/3Dprinting vhumtv is a gift of marble filament. The score-130 comment says print a ring. A score-13 comment names Addnorth E-PLA Marble as warmer than Eryone. r/3Dprinting vvpwkl is copper silk PLA and a temperature tower. r/FixMyPrint 12oqoig and r/ender3 123xyav are all-metal hotend hardware.

Questions

Does ELEGOO PLA Marble require a hardened nozzle?

The catalog flag is blank. The product page used for the nozzle, bed, speed, and drying time does not add a hardened-nozzle line on the stored row. The marble thread used a 0.6 mm nozzle. That diameter is the post.

Are the all-metal heatbreak threads about metal filament?

No. r/FixMyPrint 12oqoig is PLA stuck in all-metal heatbreaks. r/ender3 123xyav is a bi-metal heat break that would not feed until the filament tip was cut to a point. The clog guide is the hotend page.
