# How do I print polypropylene (PP)?

SUNLU's PP page, read 26 October 2026, lists a nozzle of 210–230 °C (410–446 °F) and a bed of 50–60 °C (122–140 °F) with glue. Fiberlogy's page the same day lists 220–250 °C (428–482 °F) and says the bed is not required when you use packing tape. Prusament PP Glass Fiber lists 245 ± 10 °C (473 ± 18 °F) on a PP sheet or on smooth PEI with PP tape. Use the page for the spool you are holding.

Print the temperatures and the surface on the spool you bought. The three pages below were read on 26 October 2026, and they do not share a bed. [Bed adhesion](/answers/bed_adhesion), [warping](/answers/warping), and [chemical resistance](/answers/chemical) are the neighboring questions.
## Three published setups

[SUNLU PP](/brand/sunlu/pp) lists a nozzle of 210–230 °C (410–446 °F), with a speed note of 30 mm/s or slower. The bed is 50–60 °C (122–140 °F). The key-features line says apply PC glue. The settings table says "Bed Temperature (With PP Glue)". The tips say to use a surface made for PP, apply PP glue, set the part fan to 10%, and print in an enclosed chamber. Drying is listed as 50–60 °C (122–140 °F) with no hour count. Density on that page is 0.9 g/cm³. Heat deflection is listed as 61 °C (142 °F) with no load and no test standard, so it is not compared with an ISO 75 number. The catalog bed cell is still blank.

[Fiberlogy PP](/brand/fiberlogy/pp) lists 220–250 °C (428–482 °F). The bed line says not required when using packing tape. The surfaces are smooth PEI plus PP packing tape, glass plus PP packing tape, and a powder-coated PP plate. Drying is 50 °C (122 °F) for 4 h. Enclosed chamber is not required. Airflow is 0–50%. Density is 1.05 g/cm³. Heat deflection is 51 °C (124 °F) at 0.45 MPa, ISO 75. Vicat is 110 °C (230 °F), ISO 306. The Open Filament Database cell on this row is 210–240 °C (410–464 °F) and a bed of 80–100 °C (176–212 °F). That is a different pair from the page.

[Prusament PP Glass Fiber](/brand/prusament/pp-gf) lists 245 ± 10 °C (473 ± 18 °F), a bed of 95 ± 10 °C (203 ± 18 °F), a hardened nozzle, and enclosure not required. The print surface is a PP sheet, or a smooth PEI sheet with PP tape. The page says a special print sheet or a separation layer is required, and it describes wiping the sheet with IPA. The database cell is 240–250 °C (464–482 °F) and 90–110 °C (194–230 °F).

The order is unfilled SUNLU, unfilled Fiberlogy, then glass-filled Prusament. It is not a ranking of which polypropylene sticks better.
## What the community says

[a Reddit thread in r/prusa3d](https://www.reddit.com/r/prusa3d/comments/1o89sz4/) says a large PETG or PP layer makes PLA stick to that sheet.

[a Reddit thread in r/prusa3d](https://www.reddit.com/r/prusa3d/comments/1o89sz4/): A comment says print one PP layer, peel it, and then print normally.

[a Reddit thread in r/prusa3d](https://www.reddit.com/r/prusa3d/comments/1u5s0fc/) says PP warps without chamber heat and that fiber fill is what stabilizes it.
