# What filament dryer should I buy?

A 50 °C (122 °F) dryer can dry 19 of 236 filaments in our data, mostly PLA. A filament counts when the maker's drying maximum is at or below that dryer.

1. The dryer can handle a filament only when the maker's drying maximum is at or below the dryer setting.
2. Filaments with no drying temperature are left out. They are not counted as handled.
3. This catalog has no dryer to rank. The dryer tool checks a maximum against the same filaments.

PETG | 0 | 37 | 55–80 °C (131–176 °F)
PLA | 17 | 77 | 45–75 °C (113–167 °F)
